Warranty information issued on January 1, 2022, by Purati Pty Ltd (“Purati”):
All Purati products are manufactured to meet the highest standards. We prioritize quality and ensure that each of our products undergoes comprehensive testing in our own laboratory and is produced sustainably. Purati provides a 5-year warranty starting from August 1, 2022.
Purati’s authorized distributors and sales partners are empowered to offer a 5-year warranty on Purati products as of January 2022.
Every Purati luminaire is accompanied by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Buyers are entitled to a replacement or refund in case of a major failure, as well as for other reasonably calculable loss or damage. Buyers are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards, provided that the failure does not constitute a major issue.
This warranty only applies if the product is installed, used, and maintained strictly by a qualified electrician in accordance with the installation instructions provided by Purati, including any operating manuals or product specifications.
The warranty does not cover defects resulting from fair wear and tear, intentional damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse, incorrect installation or operation, inaccurate voltage or unauthorized electrical connections. Construction faults are also not covered by this warranty.
Regarding warranty claims, the warranty will be granted only if the customer provides proof of purchase in the form of an invoice issued by a Purati sales partner, along with their contact details and information about the purchased products. Proof of the purchase date on the products and an electrical installation certificate may be required for a warranty claim. We reserve the right to request additional information if necessary.
Please note that the warranty does not cover the removal or reinstallation of the product. If you wish to make a claim under this warranty, you must bear on your own expenses.
